Winter is coming
I bought a Loco-Remote kit for County Donegal railcar No. 1 (couldn’t resist it) a few months ago and as usual put it aside.
Came across it a couple of days ago and decided to get started on it. Weather forecast said this would likely be the last sufficiently warm day to spray paint until whenever, so:

Body in my railway’s maroon. I did think of choc and cream, but the GW did paint its passenger stock maroon for a few years before the Great War …
And I like Canadian Pacific’s maroon.
Then I thought to paint the roof black, only to find that I had exhausted the black rattle can the last time I painted and hadn’t replaced it
. So the roof is in red primer and I will brush paint it later.
