Hello,
I am having to replace the faulty decoder in my KISS locomotive, item no. 99246, GeM 4/4 “Steinbock” refit, digital/sound. I am currently installing a Massoth eMOTION XLS Gem 4/4 RhB Massoth 8230220 decoder.
The wiring for the motors and the speaker was completed without difficulty and is working.

My problem concerns the wiring for the lights, given the original wiring, and I must admit I’m stuck here... I’ve attached a few photos of the existing wiring and the circuit board (the 3-pin connector powers the red and white lights located above the cab) ; if any of you have a solution or an idea, I’d be grateful.

If you have any idea how to make the connection, I’d be grateful for your help.

Laurent

I feel your pain, the manual not the most user friendly. I once tried to set up a flashing light, dooable but with lots of help from Forum members in the MAD days!

Section 3 of the manual shows the light fittings, LI-V, LI-H and LI-I being front, rear and inside lights. You may depending upon type of bulbs need to change CV settings as they are all set to track power. The diagram in section 4.4 helps to show the common return Dec+ .
