as i said, only good for straight track! Havent worked out a way of curving them. I had a 15 metre straight on my last line; total cost about40euros

To difficult to even contemplate but you can save a lot of money 'on the straight'!!

On the edge of civilisation there for some more northerly folk, but we go there without problems.

Your eye for detail around you is excellent as shown in the painting of the houses, for example. We had a week in Carcassonne in May (weather there on the whole on a par with Scarborough apart from our first day), and the painting reminded me very much of what we saw on the train journey down to Carcassonne.
