Hello,

after finishing my DP 1 I`m now about to start my layout in
the loft.
End to end narrow gauge(32 mm track)
with a little bit of standard gauge for my racehorses.
First pics are of standard gauge.
I had to start with it cause it lays in the background.

Still a little bit of work at the root system of the trees and more green around the trees,
then I think its gonna be ok ;)

Kind regards

Soeren

Hello,
haven`t layed at least less than 100 yards ;) of track
but the first visitor is already there.

Is this Nene Valley or what

Kind regards

Brilliant trees!!!!! Tell us more how you make them, PLEASE! ;D ;D ;D

Yes, the trees look great, and I would like to know too!

Hello Chris and Mike,

the trees are made of common pigweed or sedum.

The brown one in the background is the original sedum.
The others are painted with aerosol lacquer.

For the root system I take usually modelling clay witch will be coloured after drying, that´s all ;)

Kind regards

Soeren

Thank you for your reply. They look very good - now I need to find some sedum (or Pig weed)? That could be difficult but I might might find something similar. Great Inspiration.

Hello,
here comes the very first track plan.
Red means narrow gauge (32 mm) and black means standard gauge track(45 mm)

The standard gauge runs on an embankment 5,5 inches high.

The dimensions are 29 feet x 29 feet.
Kind regards

Soeren

Hello,

some more pics from my loft:

The last one is for showing you my new finescale axles ;)
for the narrow gauge line.
Just some HO driving wheels !!!!!

Kind regards
Soeren

Are you sure that wagon isn't a 'Gnomy'? - Judging by my interpretation of the contents!
:clap:;):rofl::rofl:

The wagon looks like a Faller product.

Hello,
thanks for the supporting comments.
@ Dan
Yes this is a Faller E train wagon.
Finally I´m going to use only the chassis and built the
body in such a style.

I think Phil thought about Gnomy because of my passengers.
These garden gnomes will be made in the pottery and than
shipped all over the world from my harbour(in a hopefully not so far future :))

Kind regards
Soeren

I've been contemplating a narrower gauge line in the garden, to feed the narrow gauge line already there, obviously..........Once in awhile a Faller loco comes onto Ebay. I should really look into them more seriously.
