One for you digi technical guys.

Have a prob with my LGB 23330 MOW Tractor loco...

Flashing roof lights that operate off the F1 command are not doing that,
just both are steady on, checked all other F buttons, just to see if they do anything different, but ok
Just F1 and 9 are the working ones.

All CV listed in the instructions are as per, stated Loco address excepted.
Anyone ant idea which one makes the lights alternate flashing....
 
Had the problem once before it turned out i had pressed another function button that put the lights on all the time...not sure what it was though just took it off the track and started again and then pressed f1-f9 in order until problem disapeared.

Are you using a massoth controler? Massoth chip as you can set it to 16 functions or are you speed steps correct14-28-128? also can effect the light control
 
Using Massoth, but everything is as it was 14 speed steps, loco drives, head/tail lamp works etc.
but the orange lights are both on when f1 pressed no flashing..

Its that way on alogue as well......loco runs but both orange lights on
 
CV 55 (F1) or CV 57 (F2) need to be at something like 129 for flashing lights.
(any value slightly over 128)
 
Right cracked it...

It appears to be CV 54.... i read them all the other day and it was set to 50,
Out of despiration went through the list again and it was set to nowt,
changed it back to 50 and Robert is your fathers brother....:bigsmile:

Must have accidentley changed it, but as it says to the left, Professional Idiot....

Looks like a good result Gordon. I have just looked at my Kof shunter - with the flashing lights (from the starter set) and its also set at 50 (CV54).
Cant work out what 50 relates to but happy that its working for you.
 
Must admit Alan when i read your post about the two CV's was when there was a flash of inspiration,
one of those lightbulb ping idea sort of moments.

Which has set me wondering how may CV's are/can there be and what do they all do....

Maybe a topic for another thread, and why not.

Yeah Gord, 2CVs were diabolical vehicles. Tended to go round corners using the doorhandles as stabilisers!

Sure you aint thinking of the good old Reliant Robin there....
 
In 1985 I was departing Calais dock on the ferry and noticed hundreds and hundreds of anniversary model maroon two-tone 2CVs awaiting their turn to be exported to merry ole England to wreak their havoc on the unsuspecting population. They were very impressive looking so looks can be deceiving.
 
Have been reading you post CV50 sets the voltage for lighting terminals. CV51 is F1. CV57 is F2. ASs I only have LGB I use 55045 Decoder programmer and Windows PC graphics so things are easy.
