Flags

It's the country that you are posting from, it's automatic. If you change country, the flag changes automatically.

Aghhh, it has changed to Norway. Last time I looked at this forum
I was in Copenhagen. Today on the train between Trondheim and Bodo.

. Today on the train between Trondheim and Bodo.

Ah, envious of that - we sat on board the ship and watched the rain belting down on Bodo station - but little, as in no, train movement on a Sunday :shake::shake::shake:

A few plucky ones sallied forth to be swept down the jetty by the wind - which is why we stayed on board

Hmm somfink funny goin on then cos I posted in uk and my puters settings are all UK........:(

There are various ways a web site can query browser settings and ip settings etc. to determine the country the user is connecting from. No idea what particular method this forum uses.

What country does this test reckon (under Connection Details)?

Just did the test. Says I am in NO.
So seems to suggest Norway, and I am in fact in Narvik, overlooking the working of ore cars and large double diesels at the port.

It probably depends on were the server is that is first dealing with your connection - I guess.
and, no, as far as I know you cant remove it - its built in.

I run android on an HP laptop with the google chrome browser. The test shows an amazing number of "Not detectable with this browser" entries. Also indicates a "handheld" device. Glad that it doesn't show windows anywhere!

Need to have a word with Mr Trump, then - or one of his friends :giggle::giggle::giggle:
You think he has friends?
I live so close to the border that when I step out of the house I get an sms from my 'phone service saying 'welcome to Germany' :call:

I'm in "Never-Never Land" but I still see a Canadian flag below my name. How do I change that ?
Every Saturday morning, there are about 15-20 of us, who operate the Ironwood Peter's Pond & Western Railroad, located in Never-Never Land. We are transported there, and return to Canada in the afternoon. The flag should change...now to find out what the NNLD flag looks like !!

Doh, if it is Never-Never Land it could never have a flag. Simple. :D
