I noticed that the country of origin flags are not showing under our names on the left. Has there been a change that I'm only now just picking up on ?

And still unexplained.:confused: Excuse grammar, sentence started with 'and'. At least I didn't begin with 'so' or 'like' or end with 'innit'.
That's so like you ................. innit :smoke::smoke:

Flags missing here but if you hover your mouse (waits patiently for inevitable jokes) over any user name the flag appears as does all the others. Refresh the page they disappear but return with the hovering mouse technique.

Weird!

Probably is a documented change feature, but i cant find out why they have changed to only appear when you hover over the name, very odd. i did turn a few other options on to make flags appear all over the place just for fun.

The flags are useful. This site being so multigrain cultural is why it is so good. I like trains from all around as they are in my home. it helps to know where someone is on this planet regarding potential prototype familiarity and/or advice for purchase recommendations etc.

No doubt the data police will jump on this? - Unless we all opt-in??

Giving out geographic location data, without permission! :rofl::rofl::rofl:

The flag of the original poster in the title is of limited relevance.
It was better as it was before when you could see where each user who comments is from. :nod:

Yep. Not fixed!
I didn't need to close my browser, I just clicked from New Posts to get a fresh page and they are now gone again.
The flags are gone from the New Posts page too but I don't miss those ones.

Just hover over any Avatar (picture at left of post) and they appear for the whole thread.. - True you have to do this each time you enter a new thread, but only 'need to know' when you actually do 'need to know'..
