Exeter Garden Railway Show

The Exeter Garden Railway Show is an annual event held each October showcasing the best in all the popular garden railway scales and gauges.

Always a good variety of layouts and traders and a good cafeteria in the exhibition hall with plenty of free parking outside.

I shall be there with a new section of my Wolf Creek layout this year so say ‘hello’ if you fancy a chat !

I shall be there too, as one of a small team displaying the Whiteleaf Railway (43-foot end-to-end under catenary). This is an extended version of the 45mm gauge layout we exhibited at Bressingham last month, where we started to bring our Gauge 3 section back into use. With the extra length we will have at Exeter, we will have a destination for our "standard-gauge-on-narrow-gauge" transporter wagons.

Come and say hello if you are at the show. Last I heard we are going to be in the Studio (just off the main exhibition hall).

With so few of us able to make the lengthy journey, like PhilP, I'm not expecting to get much (if any) time to look round the rest of the show.

So no idea where we have been put.
