Does anyone know where I could get a (or maybe two) of these for a reasonable price?
It seems that most dealers are out of stock of the v4 and are waiting for the v5 to be released. All I could find available on the net are silly money after shipping and customs duty. It would be much cheaper to wait for the v5!
 
Are you particularly after the functions of a version 4 Neil?
The V3.5 XL is a great board and has a good library of sounds.
 
I mainly use the 3.5 version although I have a couple of V4 that I have not used yet.
the V3.5 has great function spread and the sounds are top notch but it does not do stereo or twin channel sounds like the V4.

I have a couple of Loksound 3.2 XL (same as 3.5 but with a green board and supplied as OEM) or a couple of Loksound V4 XL that I have not used yet. I might be persuaded to let them go....
 
I've done a bit of research on the v3.5 and I would prefer the v4.0.
I hope we can come to an arrangement if you are happy to sell me one (or both) of your v4.0s on the assumption that you are unlikely to need them before the replacement v5 is released.
This is the best price I could get on reservations for a v5
