Warning; probably a dumb question, electrics not my field.

I'm going to install a couple of crossovers. Can I wire up a pair of point motors to the one switch on an LGB 51750 control box?

Yes: no problem at all. If you're feeling adventurous you can go higher than 2. On my previous layout I had 5 co-acting points off one push button using the 24 volt supply from an ordinary LGB starter set transformer/controller. Worked faultlessly for over 5 years before we moved house and I went over to DCC.

Yes, I have a crossover at Weybourne South Junction where I've done the same thing.

And I have also used the same techique to switch both points for the reversing chords too....

As long as the box has the black rockers it will be fine the earlier box's with white rockers are of a smaller amperage capacity and used to burn out, I know coz I have a collection of box's with burn't switches!!
