I decided it would make for interesting operation if my main passenger consist could operate in both directions. Not being bothered about prototypes and not being able to afford any of the available ones at the moment I decided to make one. It is built on a shortened Jackson Sharpe Bachmann coach and a Claribel roof the body of which went to Mel.
The bogie pivots needed to be moved and the bogie drawbars shortened. Trying to make the two windows by hand with a file I found tough. It's not perfect but it runs well and it's unique I guess. It has LGB light bezels, lights from ROSS, and wipers and brake connector from GRS. Rattle can paint from B&Q. Driving console is modded from my Alco which has battery gizmos in the cab now with a seat from the coach.
It has a red flashing light for being pulled and a LED headlight for being pushed. As always I find videoing from down low shows my wonky track!http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gtPZFCwd_qA
Some pictures of it finished and the build below - BTW it has some rain drops from testing, the paints not that dodgey
