Another digital mogul added to the roster. I recently picked up an as new undec LGB Mogul with factory onboard large decoder. I modified a South Park tender to represent an early flared tender with a coal load in the bunker. LGB digital sound unit was fitted to the tender. Road number is purely fictional as only standard gauge Moguls lasted into the 1920's/1930's Rio Grande timeframe.

I had to disassemble to paint and decal the cab (first paint job was not to my acceptance as the clear coat reacted with the decals), so I took the opportunity to 'modernise' the loco.

Very nice. One of the best of the best from the LGB stable. They run and run and run! I have an early version with Massoth Sound Chip.
