Now this is why I would never want to live in the USA - I would go bankrupt in a few hours
I saw a 71/4" gauge "Romulus" built up as a Fourney at the Midland model engineering show a couple of years ago. It was for sale on the Station Models stand. It looked huge for a 71/4" gauge live steamer - but then it's modelled on a 2' prototype. Somewhere between 1/4 and 1/3 scale ! It was £7,500. Nearly sold the garden railway on the spot but somebody else got there first :crying:
