Now this is why I would never want to live in the USA - I would go bankrupt in a few hours

I saw a 71/4" gauge "Romulus" built up as a Fourney at the Midland model engineering show a couple of years ago. It was for sale on the Station Models stand. It looked huge for a 71/4" gauge live steamer - but then it's modelled on a 2' prototype. Somewhere between 1/4 and 1/3 scale ! It was £7,500. Nearly sold the garden railway on the spot but somebody else got there first :crying:

Nice to see some decent lenght trains, you don't often see much in the way of scale modeled rolling stock on minature railways.

Yes slack, very slack they could have had some of those dwarf Vietnamese cows, the waggons are big enough
