A stunning example in every way!

This lovely loco is in beautifully unmolested condition, it is a very unusual find to get one from this era in such fantastic original condition! It looks to have barely been used, and has certainly never seen a garden railway!

only the odd minute mark

Hardly any wear at all on the skates or wheels.

Except it appears to have been run across concrete by the pictures!  Yours for only £599 or so.........  ???

Somewhere there will be an unsuspecting buyer, or to put it in unpolitically correct terms, a fool.

You would think they would have at least cleaned the wheels. ::)

That's an old feller though--steel side rods, split motor block and red wheels...good old Krok.

So the Croc might be crook?

Don't think there is a link JonD.. Just a quote from the description and a shot of the underside of the loco..

To me, it just looks like the wheels / skates need a good clean-up?? The picture comes out too small to see any greater detail here.

Its been for sale a few times. Seen it in the past myself, when searching for generic LGB 2040, for parts etc.

If this is the one, and I am also assuming that you aint bidding for it John?

Yes, that's the one Gordon. Old type power connectors as well. And you're right - I bought a new one for less a few years ago..... :D

No not bidding, not my thing really. Had I wanted one I would have had one of Andy Rush's ones that were sold via Glendale last year. At least I knew their Pedigree and both were Sound Fitted. This one does not look too bad, but you can tell it os an oldie by the Holes for Lighting Wires as well as the other giveaways. Definitely not worth the Money though.
