This model was unused for many years and regrettably the original owner is no longer around to clarify which of the numerous 4-4-2s that were owned by the LNER in the 1940s that this engine is based on. The cab however does have a North Eastern appearance and as the model was made up from a kit I would suspect there may be a few others around for possible further information?
The video shows the engine with plenty of steam but on a very low throttle working over a gradient. It was powerful enough to achieve this hauling heavy teaks and without having to adjust the regulator for the falling gradient on the other side.

I reckon it is capable of pulling a load of about 12 stone or possibly more on a raised 2 1/2 gauge track, I have the frames pistons and wheel castings for a similar engine, it is an atlantic the same as LBSC's Ayesha but with outside motion as opposed to Ayesha's inside motion.
