Thanks Gizzy, I'll try that. The instruction leaflet suggests pushing a screwdriver through the open door and up inside the roof where there's a small circular opening in the internal plastic moulding (as suggested in an earlier post) , but I haven't had any luck with that. I don't want to apply too much force!Welcome to the forum Sir!
Most roofs on LGB stock just clip on, but I'm not quite sure about the RhB coaches.
I doubt that they are screwed on though, so try to grip the roof and gently twist on one side, keeping the other side in place....
You'll be fine. LGB is pretty much bombproof. Dan has also suggested a good technique....Thanks Gizzy, I'll try that. Thanks. I will try that.
unlike most of the LGB coachs this seams to be a flathead screwdriver through the door.
Closing out my entry on this. Went ahead this evening and went past my arbitrary pressure point. Success and just as easy as described. AsNodrog1826 mentioned, there was no mention of the tabs in the instructions.
When I start customizing the interiors, I have the humorous idea of having a passenger permanently stuck in the restroom

Maybe not as the person stuck in the toilet joke wouldn't work. I suppose one could makebelieve (who doesn't in this hobby?) that the coach has a toilet at each end.I don't want to dampen your plans, but the toilet should have a frosted/white window, not too sure but looking at the other photos, there is a white on at the other coach end.
I am guessing the coach sides are on the wrong way around. But as you now have the roof off, you may as well dismantle and rebuild it the right way.
Would that involve flush glazing?I don't want to dampen your plans, but the toilet should have a frosted/white window, not too sure but looking at the other photos, there is a white on at the other coach end.

Oh dear where is that groan emoji again! You did get me wondering for a minute so I guess the joke is on me.Would that involve flush glazing?

If you want frosted glass in your toilet compartments, just lightly sand the inside surface with, dare I Say it, glass paper.Thats a difference coach to the one you sent a picture of originally ! so has a different opening style and involved the "squeeze" (Lgb technical term i think) method.
Just love the toilets, and most people dont even know there there due to the frosted windows, might have to put some new glass and and angered strainer in mine too, good idea.
