I thought I'd post these, as they are very close to G scale and the modelling is very good.

In Cambridge, there are various 'Dinky Doors' around and Mizzy and I spent last Sunday cycling around trying to find them.

Some are a little twee and whimsical, but you can't help admiring the artist's modelling skills....

Yes, that was No 10 Downing Street in the last post, and it is in Downing Street in Cambridge.

A few more....

My own little 'Dinky Darling' took these photos.

Okay, so it's not trains, but if this guy was building models for my railway, I'd be very pleased!

Hope you also enjoy them too....

A great theme for a day/weekend in Cambridge. We're down in Norfolk later this month so I may see what can be done.

Next time in Cambridge, I'll look out for some. Cambridge has many hidden corners and secret places, even in the middle of town. It's worth pottering around looking up, not down.

Very nice selection much more imaginative that the Fairy Doors that we have in Priory Park at the nits. They were just bought from a shop and nailed onto trees, though they are quite illusive to find I have not found all of them as yet. The Cambridge ones are certainly all well made and look the business.
Here is the signpost and the first of our pathetic doors (compared to Cambridge) but the kids love em Fairy Doors.
