If Gizzy does not beat me to it I will post a pic when mine arrives, complete with an LGB figure to give scaling.

A gentleman, a scholar, and a railway modeller....
They are a little bit below scale for LGB Gavin, but with careful placement, they will look okay I reckon? And yes they are a little twee too!
Hopefully Dunny can post a picture for you with an LGB figure, as I am unable to do so atm....
They'll probably be fine after a few months of weather.

I did a quick google when I read this for 'allo allo miniature figures' and got this

Sadly war gamers talk about Suze rather than scale so the ones shown above will be way too small for us. On this link they show Resistance Fighters and even a Cafe owner but again at 28mm high far too small again.

Yep, as part of the Wargames industry myself, I can confirm that when "we" (wargamers AND military modellers/figure collectors) talk about scales, we mean the height from foot-to-eye-level of a typical 5'9" human - so a figure described as "25mm" will actually be about 27-28mm to the top of its head/helmet. That's why the Phoenix French Maid in my pics above is described as "90mm" scale.....
"15mm" in figure scale = approx. 1/100, "20mm" about 1/76, "28mm" approx. 1/60, "54mm" is 1/32..... for figures suitable for G you need to look for anything with a scale listed around 75mm to 90mm (though the top end of that is closer to what you'd use for 16mm/ft).
Yes, it's horribly complicated......

Not usually, although we do argue over whether to measure foot-to-eye or foot-to-top-of-head..... and then you have "realistic" (proportioned) sculpting styles and exaggerated or caricatured styles, so it's just as bad really!

Of course, if you are willing to make your own costumes, there are several sources of "well endowed" young ladies.
This one arrived unpainted in clear plastic, from eBay I think. Took me a while and some paint to realize she was a baseball player! (Note her hand is missing - that was a big glove.) She's more like 7/8ths scale - the driver is Scalecraft 1:19th/16mm.
The next one is going in my latest coach. I like to put one in somewhere to amuse the locals. And who could resist a cowgirl in boots with a pair of 45s and a bikini?
She is (theoretically) 1:20rth scale, but quite tall. There's a video game called "
Dead or Alive figure Beach VolleyBall" and the figures are theoretically 1:20.

This beach volleyball lady is sightly more dressed than most. The guy is an SLM 1:20 and the engineer is a Scalecraft 1:19.

What I have not found is whether the figures are delivered painted, probably somewhere on the site. However if they are painted for the level of detail and quality of painting they would appear to be good value. Good quality paint jobs on figures do not come cheeep.

Sorry JonD, these will be unpainted kits of whitemetal castings...... the only way you'll get a ready-assembled and painted one is if you are lucky enough to find a nicely-done secondhand one on evilBay like I did!
I have several others from the range that I've found over the years, that vary between unstarted kits and fully assembled and painted, though the painting varies from very good to just about acceptable.
