You won't see an autocoach on this branch...but for a good reason.

Another current project is that I am building a live steam GWR railmotor. In this I am copying the Great Western Society who are converting a full size autocoach back to the steam railmotor it originally came from. I bought an autocoach kit from Garden Rail Specialists and also a vertical boiler. The power bogie is close to being finished and I will start a thread on it next week.

I just love unusual challenges.:timeout:

That's magnificient. I agree with Paul though- keep the truss rods, they are almost invisible.

Please keep us posted on the Railmotor.

You and Paul have a point. I will leave the rods uncovered and tell everyone they are drain pipes.;)

Thanks

Really Great work Moonraker :admire:
Used 6mm threaded ties across the top of my suspension bridge (to tie the arches) they were cheap and do the job well. I have hidden them behind plasterer's beading to match the vertical frame though.

p.s. I'm a Brunel Fan but please don't make a trestle out of me

Regards
Rob
