Book - A Down To EarthRailway

Hi Everyone

This is not a review or a plug as such, just a mention that Forum member silverfox, Roger Mannion, has just had a book published in conjunction with Garden Railway Specialists, entitled 'A Down To Earth Railway. It is an A4, 149 page, paperback, comprehensive beginner's guide to all aspects of creating a G Scale garden railway. I give it a mention for purely altruistic reasons, he has used 15 of my photographs as illustrations in the book. All of my photos that he used were previously posted in the Coffee Lounge and can be found in the Media Album 'David's Pic of the Day'. Full accredition was given.

Having seen some of my photos in the book, I requested a copy from Roger as per his request to use photos from the site, and mine arrive today, and like David1226 my photos are also credited.

I assume the rest of you who have photos in this book have requested your FREE copy

Jon, that was my issue as the request for photos informed you had to request a book, not read through it yet so not seen your name credited. I would have thought the author would have informed those, who's photos he used, but I certainly wasn't!
