Re:BCRR in black and white

Hey Don, many thanks again mate, and you will soon have a 'history' for your layout. Look forward to seeing it in the flesh this coming year. There are some very photogenic locos on the BL&E.

Re:BCRR in black and white

Hi Mike
Have you thought of making them into Greeting Cards they would look fantastic

Re:BCRR in black and white

Cheers Tony, I promise that they are all of the layout! Except for the photo of a 1:1 British loco which Don posted.

Great pics, what type of camera do you use if I may ask, great clarity.Amazing what can be done sat at home these days with a computer.....not so long ago when all you could do with a computer was 'ping pong' (oooops, makes me sound ancient)

Hi Kevin
many thanks for the kind comments.
I use an Olympus E620 DSLR with a variety of lenses but the main one is a 12-60mm zoom. It was a bit pricey but it does give a very good sharp picture and has a very useful zoom range for taking shots of miniature stuff like G scale railroads....it is sort of strange that I am fuzzing, dirtying and scratching the sharp shots up for these B&W conversions!
Yes it is amazing how things have progressed. I used to do my own B&W and colour printing using an enlarger, chemical dishes etc and now all I have to do is play around with levels, adjustments, filters and overlays in Photoshop. But I must say that it is still enjoyable but in a different way.

AWSOME

IT IS AMAZING HOW REALISTIC THESE PIC'S AND THE VID LOOK
