Re:BCRR in black and white

I really love the way the B&W photos came out. Its amazing how real everything looks. One of these days I want to sit down and blow a few of my pictures up and do it in B&W and hang on my walls. Excellent work and layout.

Re:BCRR in black and white

Hi Shawn
They do have a totally different feel and seem so appropriate for the time era of some or railways. I think that you layout would give some superb shots when done in B&W. If you want some 'extra' effects like those that I have used, I would be only too pleased to do a few conversions for you to see if you like the output or not on your photos.

Re:BCRR in black and white

Thanks lads, I hope, as I try more effects, levels and overlays, I am getting closer to the look of real old unloved photos with the variety of damage that they might have sustained.

A couple more from the BeaverCreek Railroad's summer archive

The Santa Fe Mallet has been replaced with a Rio Grande version which is currently going through a kitbash and the blocks are at Aristocraft being 'requartered'

Re:BCRR in black and white

Will be only too happy to do it Shawn...Tis a shame that I did not get a chance to take some of your layout for real....perhaps another time.......
Just send me them in as high resolution as you can. I will pm you email address.

Just tell me the effects that you would like

You are up nice and early!

Re:BCRR in black and white

........a couple more...I promise, I will stop soon....it is just that I do like 'distressing' these photos....sort of makes the layout have a sort of 'history'
