The Accucraft C-16 is one of my favourite locos. It runs well and is very solidly made compared to Bachmann stuff.

Accucraft - entirely metal - finer details from diecast and LWCs.

Bachmann - mostly a plastic material of some kind.

Hardly surprising then?

well, at about 3 times the cost or more, you would indeed expect to get a superior product in the Accucraft....
