It must be quite distressing for you being racially discriminated against by those who refuse to post to Ireland. I only have one set of plastic wheels and they are on the LGB toastrack trailer I bought. I think I shall make up metal wheels for it though because the plastic wheels are to railway profiule and hardly befitting running on tramway profile track...trammayo said:... but he may not post to IrelandI would never buy any plastic wheelsets - like everybody else, they get chucked in a box. Mind you, I still have dozens of sets waiting to be replaced by metal ones!
Keep them. If/when the day comes to sell off your wagons/coaches place them back in and sell off the metal sets that I presume you used to replace them with instead. Then you can say "totally original condition" in your sales pitchsharpcreative said:I have a pile about a foot in diameter. Can't quite bring myself to chuck them out, but I doubt I'll ever find a use for them. Landfill, maybe!?
It was so good it was withdrawn.....Beddhist said:Here is another toy train bargain on Ebay: [ebay]http://www.ebay.com/itm/MIB-NEW-BRIGHT-HOLIDAY-EXPRESS-387-G-SCALE-ELECTRIC-TRAIN-ANIMATED-CHRISTMAS-/360409124971[/ebay]
