Along The Three Foot (occasional views from the Foxdale & St. Marks Railway)

Some impressive photos; there's been a lot of work going on, and some good weather too, by the look of it. My dodgy maths suggests that the photo of Caledonia on the Basket Bridge is at least 96 years years old, as the structure was replaced in 1917, which for me is part of the appeal of prototypical modelling...

a couple of fairly recent pictures

I've just had a most enjoyable time going back to the first post and browsing through from start to finish. Superb photos and very evocative of the IoM. Maybe time I went back for another holiday there.

The photo out of the spectacle plate, along the boiler is really excellent.

Very well done Sir.

Two superb photos - the Northern in particular:thumbup:

A few recent builds ;)

Nice set of coaches sir!

Great stuff! Any chance of a pic of the underside of the Cleminson coach? I'd be interested to see how you've sorted out the mechanics. What's your minimum radius? Does she creak realistically as she rounds the bends?

I fancy tackling a 6-wheel Southwold open wagon (I think my curves are too severe for a coach), hence my interest.

Sorry Ge Rik, infrequent visitor here these days :)
The coaches were built for other people and have gone to their owners a while ago, so can't oblige with the pics. My min radius is four feet six, and they struggled with that.
Don't think I have run anything since last September, other things going on....

Hmmm ...... think I may struggle to get one round my remaining R1 curves ........ But then I've never given up in the face of a challenge

Excellent pics, I must say. Shame that we don´t see more of them - but that´s what the summer´s for, n´est-ce pas?

Glad you enjoyed your visit last week

A couple of weeks off work, and a few goods vehicles to finish off. But first an IMR E van, this one is E3, which provided the chassis for the IP Engineering G19 that some of you might have in model form.
Turned out in the "Posh" livery around 1900
