Along The Three Foot (occasional views from the Foxdale & St. Marks Railway)

Passing trains at Kionslieu Station. No6 "Peveril" heading south towards St. Marks, whilst the ex CDR Railcars trundle off in the opposite direction. The chimney of the engine house at the Cronk Dhoo mines can be seen in the distance.

A little like Brigadoon, Ballahowin Bridge Station appears from out of the mists and on to the official timetables quite sporadically. Its appearance tends to coincide with wether or not a local landowner or well to do resident has been elected to serve in the Government.
At present it is closed, a faux pas involving holiday cottages and Government grants resulted in a recent bye - election.
That is not to say, however, that the train crews might be persuaded to make a quick unofficial stop from time to time for a small consideration.

The happy result of emptying out the "Bits" box one rainy Sunday afternoon a while ago.
The PW wickham is made from scrap plastic, long matchsticks and the left over laser cut frames of an I.P. Engineering IOM G van kit. Completed by the wheels and motor of a Bachmann gandy dancer and powered by a pp3 battery with a simple on/off switch.
Figures home made from Das clay.

One of the delights of the line, is that by using different buildings I can run the F&St.M as either a representation of the North or South lines of the I.O.M. Railway. The views posted thus far have been Northern so a couple of shots of a Southern station
