Hi All,
Thought I'd share a video of my Accucraft Ruby with its home made chuff pipe. I'm pretty 'chuffed' with the result!

I have a Accy Superior that was fitted with a chuff pipe very nice sound but made it useless trying to haul a train on a gradient that was challenging, took it out and then had a working engine, I think chuff pipe created too much back pressure. It still chuffs but like the real thing only when under load.

I would suggest it was not fitted correctly.

It was fitted correctly, it was screwed into where it was supposed to be, it's only saving grace was the volume of the chuff it created, don't know if it was a commercial item or home made, I bought the engine second hand,
anyway it works now so I'm happy.
