A line with no trains

A few pics yesterday before some Test Runs after the Jack rebuild. Look no Trains or Coaches or Wagons!

That next to last shot looks like Mr Brunel's atmospheric railway - and he wasn't talking about the ambience :nerd::nerd:

Now you've really got me itching to rebuild my line. Trouble is that it takes years of experience to get layouts looking that good and just as long to get it to mature.

The "years of experience" is right here on this forum. You'd be surprised how easy it is to get a line up and running. Just follow a few basic principles and it will all wokk fine. Yes, planting can take a time to mature but that's part of the fun seeing your line develop and adapting things as they develop. Max

It is a Water Course to get water from a recycling Tank to a small stream that runs behind Silberhutte Station.
Oil pipeline?;)
But it has been made to look like the many pipelines that were seen all over the old East Germany, these were predominantly used for conveying Steam around to varying Factories. I have them on various parts of my line, another can be seen in some of the pictures of Silberhutte.

Alternatively, you can plant it like Green River Shanty Town :giggle::giggle::giggle:

The waving fronds behind the train are carrots in the veg plot :emo::emo:

Make nice trees - shame about the short season.:)

So the gold in them thar hills is veg, not mineral? Oh me darling Clementine!
CClementines as well?
Seriously folks this whole thread is an inspiration. Most of the pictures on the forum tend to focus on locos or rolling stock or specific points of topic. Seeing the actual tracks and infrastructure like this is great.:)
