A bridge too far or long

'Tis a labour of love - will you trust it to the weather?
It will get primed and painted when it's done so I think it will be fine out in the weather what concerns me more is all the small detail work which may get abused by the local wildlife! If the new house does not have a large enough garden for a big layout I think it will make a nice display inside, at 96in long I could display a full rake on it!!

Now that's what I call a bridge. Looks fantastic.

I reckon the bridge is fantastic, your workspace on the other hand is far to neat and organised....

....and am now putting on the frilly bits....

Gussets and frilly bits?

I'll be getting into trouble if I read much more of this?

Great (big) bridge BTW Paul....

Bit more done to the bridge at the weekend lots more cutting and gluing! It's almost finished just the decking and lower cross beams to cut and fit and I think I shall put a walkway on one side as I have lots of redwood left over!

Looking very good. A very complex structure - you have a lot of patience!

Yes, but will it fly Mr Wright ? Will it fly ....?

Very impressive Paul. I think I'd be frightened of putting it in the garden, though.

that really dose look the bussnes paul, nicely done, every confidansce it will fly..

Since I was reading this again as it came up in somebody elses thread. I'll finish it off the tale! I never did get to paint and finish it and it languished in the shop at work for years so I finally sold it off to a new member who lives locally and I hope he will install and use it as intended............Paul
