55025p switch route reset

I have recently changed the layout of my railway. I wish to revise or replace some of the switch routes set up in my 55015 hand controller.
Is there a method of emptying buttons 1 to 9 of the existing switch routes ?
Or editing my existing switch routes.
Once I have set a route I do not seem to be able to replace or amend it ?

It's been a long time since I did this, but I think you just overwrite the old settings with the new data.

Back in my MTS2 days, my route 9 set all points to diverge, and then route 0 would set all points to straight. I used this as a confidence check that all points were working, before a running session. I have 3 routes programmed for normal running....

Ok, worked it out.

If after pressing F7 and selected a route number, you immediately press and hold the round red halt button, rather than showing the existing route/switch information it will allow you to start entering a new route.

If only the manual would have told me that.

I wonder if it did in the German version, lost in translation comes to mind.
