A very nice chap called Derek was kind enough to send me some files for a 7mm tram.

I've scaled them up to G Scale, added more detail and some additional parts such as seating, collector post, steps etc and I must say, they make for a very nice model.

Derek has said I'm welcome to share the files and print parts for anyone else, so please let me know if you're interested. Not everything is shown below, but it gives you a good sense of what's available.

I can see the stairs on their own being a great thing for scratch builders. Looks an interesting little car.

Your tram print looks to have come out very well. I for one would be interested in the files if available, as the body and trucks would be very suitable for light railway/Corris coaches.

Hi, i'm very intersted in the STL files.!
Did you use a philament printer?
Can you add some comments on how you printed the seperate parts so that they do not give problems of overhanging etc. ?
I usually print the long sides flat on the workplane and if necessary i divide hooked parts with large standing up parts in separate parts flat on the workplane.

For anyone wanting files printing, please send me a private message, and we can discuss prices. As a rough guide, a full tram including a set of plastic LGB wheels is likely to be around £55 plus postage

Yes, all printed in Filament. Only the stairs need any support and everything else prints flat or vertically. Designed for a Bambu Labs A1 with a 256mm x 256mm bed.
 
Good choice to model as well - a standard 3-window open top Brush built car - used by a number of UK operators. I'm almost tempted myself........... (though the Ipswich ones were very narrow compared to most places)

The beauty of 3D printing is that it would not be a huge job to narrow the design.

If you have some dimensions and the scale you'd like to work to, I can take a look at what it would take to create a closer approximation.
