Did anyone else noticed the piece in the review section of the latest Continental Modeller, about the new UK agent/distributor for ZIMO products?
It's going to be a firm called Rail Exclusive Models, apparently, and a preliminary web page is up here:
http://www.zimo-digital.co.uk/ ...h Zimo decoders or other products? Jon.

Used a 1.8amp MX69H decoder (high power HO scale) in one of my small locos as that was all it needed. Very nice decoder.

Always had the impression that Zimo systems were high-end and expensive, but not looked into them in great detail as happy with what I've got.

In my long birth into the world of DCC I read up a lot of reviews of the different makes and in the US, Zimo is very well thought of.
One guy over there has a great website full of tips and reviews etc, He has been involved in a lot of development of kit.
Some members on here will probably already know of him....
His name is Greg Elmassian, here is the link to the home page

here is his thoughts on zimo

Thanks Mike, lots of interesting stuff to read on his site - interesting that like me he seems to be into both ends of the scale spectrum, Z and G (Yes, I know you can get T (smaller than Z) and of course lots of stuff bigger than G, but to me those are either gimmicks or "specialist territory"!).

Jon.
