Hi,

I did post this question on the old forum, but have forgot the answer. I'm doing some LGB baching into the Zillertalbahn stock as per the W&L. I need to repaint the coach, but am not sure how to get the right shade of brown I would loke to spay it and red primer is not far of, guessing my only bet is to mix something like Hunbrol and paint it by hand. However any thoughts?

Thanks

I tried to match the paint myself but eventually ended up at a local car paint suppliers who took an existing coach and matched it (most good shops will be able to do this now as they can match just about any colour, look in yellow pages for one).
If you do that make sure you get it matt finish. It will probably be acrylic paint so you can easily get an acrylic satin varnish to finish it.
It cost less than a tenner to do 2 small coaches and if you are careful possibly 3 so it's cost effective.
Its not perfect but close enough.
