Winter days on the Sandstone & Termite 2014

A nice winter`s day in Sydney and four of us gathered to run a few trains.

Here`s my Climax ready to leave for the sawmill with a load of logs.  It has special running permission over the mainline to Lilyvale.



and here it bursts from the tunnel



Keith`s 79 class is waiting at Lilyvale and will take over the logs.


Newcomer Phill had his Heisler, seen here on the back loop at Melaleuca. The tram is on a railfan special and is stuck in the cattle siding - passengers not impressed!


Terry`s live steamer "Billy"  makes a spectacular sight in the afternoon sun.


My orange diesel reflects the afternoon sunset.
