Where to source replacement motor blocks for LGB DR Mallet

Does anyone know where I can get hold of either a complete motor block for a 22852 Mallet or where I can get all of the parts to build one up?

I've tried to translate the Modell-Land website product listings and it looks like they sell some of the bits but I wondered if anyone had found a source of a ready assembled unit.

TIA

You might find some dead ones because the front ones often overheat and cook because of a lack of ventilation on hot days etc. So if you get one, keep that in mind.
You could ask Trainli in the USA. They source parts from Modell-Land but perhaps they have one in stock.

Thanks for the suggestion (and the info on front motor blocks - always wondered why whenever I've had an issue it's always been with the front block)

Careful if you buy the parts because the motors come in two different shaft sizes. Also the front and rear motor blocks are different.

Have you tried P&S hobbies in York?

you see them off and on on ebay and Trainz, last set I bid on went for more than a used engine, think worth point has them some times

A couple other good sources for LGB loco parts:

1. eBay.de, do a search for "lgb ersatzteile" (lgb parts) and you can also put the locomotive type after that such as Mallet.

2. www.Shop.Warenburg.de They also sell on eBay.de but you can get a better price directly from their Website in Germany.
