Where Oh Where Shall I Go Next.....itinerary Of A Boxcar

after the boxcars apearance at the show, where's it off to next?

Right, the boxcar is now in transit to sunny Spain......

And it has arrived for a sunny holiday:):)
We'll be seeing how many layouts we can visit in the next 2 weeks.

I think a travelling boxcar is a great idea.
If anyone is o.k. with it, i want to throw my CCRR in the ring to be a station on its journey.

The CCRR is under construction this year, and now we got a young doggie, so the work on the RR is going on slowly and theres less ability to do some operations.
But maybe a visit of the wide-travelled car can give it a push.....

Greetings

It's on it's way here now, from Mick in the emerald isle. Puggy next?
Hmm, the boxcar does a sub-tour of the small states, good idea

Any more takers in Europe? PM me or post here.

Bump.........who's next?????

I think if its done in Europe I would like to get it back here to California for a visit and then send it on to the Southern Hemisphere! It's been away for a looooong time and seen a lot of places!! Thanks too all for taking care of it so far and all the wonderfull pictures to go with it.........Paul
PS I just noticed that its three years and two days ago that the box car started its journey!!

However if it were to travel from Europe to Australia and then New Zealand before returning to California it could justifiably claim to have circumnavigated the planet.

good point mate! Maybe straight to NZ then? You ready John? Is it still in it's original box I sent it out in? must be plastered in postmarks by now?

It was still in a brown box, as you say when it was here over a year ago.

Just wondering what additional things have been added (apart from names) since it let here.

uhhhhh...i think u can pm the details to me.

I wanted that car, and now i HAVE it.
And i got the tail to swing it half arround the world. WOW.
That will need to clear some bureaucracy.....NewZealand....hmmmm....

wow.....i have to look what i´ll do.

1.) repair the RR for weeks to make a picture of round robin.

or

2.) place the car inside a chaos of hailstorm-rubbish and then send it on its way.

most hail had the size of golfballs, some got near tennisballs. Landrover lost some lights and has now a real "offroad"-surface.
But its not that bad.
Nobody got hurt here and the water in the cellar was fast out. So....no big damage.

Greetings

(a bit frustrated)
