What happened at your workbench today?

I've made a start on a box to hold Nº23. 5.5mm ply (which will have a 3.6mm liner inside it). Which provided an opportunity to buy a couple of larger clamps. You can never have too many, y'know!

Had Moses not dropped the third tablet of the Law, this would have been on it.
Then again, if he had enough clamps, he wouldn't have dropped it.

Despite having a shiny new bandsaw, the box needs cutting by hand as it's too big to go through the machine . So it's out with a tenon saw, and use some of those skills that I took years developing...


After which, cut the thin ply lining, which will make the box sturdier and hold the lid in place, and then glue it in place. Lots of lovely clamps!
