Had Moses not dropped the third tablet of the Law, this would have been on it.an opportunity to buy a couple of larger clamps. You can never have too many, y'know!
If he'd had enough clamps, he could have glued it back together...Had Moses not dropped the third tablet of the Law, this would have been on it.
Then again, if he had enough clamps, he wouldn't have dropped it.

Do you want bats in your belfry? I understand Luxembourg has a good supply. Can I have a little tower with a bell like Donald Sutherland had in "The First Great Train Robbery" as well?
ClamptasticDespite having a shiny new bandsaw, the box needs cutting by hand as it's too big to go through the machine. So it's out with a tenon saw, and use some of those skills that I took years developing...

After which, cut the thin ply lining, which will make the box sturdier and hold the lid in place, and then glue it in place. Lots of lovely clamps!

Very interesting what can be dine in 3D printing, how are the couplings centred on the hook is there a small spring inside?Finished off another 2 sets of points that will be used in a new scene inside the shed. The scene is planned to include a 3D printed double slip; I have 2 models to choose from so when I have printed and assembled them I'll see which one is the sturdier or if is doable.

I also added bogies and couplers to some coal wagons that were built following the plans from the old garden railways magazine (when they came as a centrefold) by the father of a friend of mine.
The bogies and couplers were 3D printed using files from thingaverse

Yes the spring is an integral [art of the coupler and is printed. They are a bit fragile but as these were printed in PLA the next lot will be in PETG which is a bit tougher.Very interesting what can be dine in 3D printing, how are the couplings centred on the hook is there a small spring inside?

That's the 'new' tenon saw! The other two are 'proper' Disston ones, but are so old the steel looks like they were found in a peat bog...I which archeological dig did you discover that saw.....![]()
