This one is to go between the tender and loco (live steam). Battery in tender (on the right) with fuse and charging socket. L-o-n-g lead (with connector) between tender and loco.
Power switch is on the front of the cab, and then connection to the receiver.

SNAP ! My dear Shed bother in the US, crazy

So the link to the UK purchasers has expired for me as it was a few years ago but did a quick search on the US ebay under "french cat door" and got this suppler for you. hope it helps, there maybe be cheaper ones about.

FRENCH CAT DOOR EBAY

Gota ask, does your shed have air con ? Richard
It sure does! This is Lewiston, Idaho. Last summer or the summer before, we got to 110 F. 100+ degree days are pretty common in the summer. Record was 117 in 1939 There's a little wall heater inside when it gets to -10 F in the winter (Last two winters). Record low was -22 in 1968. Come to think of it, I might need to plan some shade for a plastic door. :sweating:

This little project is already finished, but I think I haven't shared it here yet. So here it is.

This is Zoe, a 7/8" driver figure from Clavey Models.
I wanted her on locomotive Brammert, but removeable.
And I wanted to give her extended hand something to do.

So I built a brake handle from brass, on a wooden sockle. I glued Zoe and her brake onto a small wooden platform.

I painted the platform gloss black, to blend in with the locomotive floor.

The platform snugly fits into the locomotive, requiring no additional fastening. So now I can steam Brammert up, and when he's ready to run I just insert Zoe and off we go.

I'm quite pleased that I seem to have positioned Zoe exactly right, in that she looks precisely straight ahead. Unfortunately I found this impossible to capture in a photo but when your eye is at track level and in front of the loco, the effect is convincing.

Lastly, I gave Zoe this big shovel, because why not.

But the audio is very clear. Is it your own voice?

And as much as I would like to joke that it is Mrs Ps. voice, it is not. I gave her the nickname, Witchy Woman of Pinetown Road over forty years ago. Lovingly of course. The name has stuck with her all these years.

The workbench has seen sorting activity in the last couple of days. Along with some bits of Bachmann locos I have come across these four. No makers name so I have no idea where they are from, I don't recall having missing wheels in my rolling stock. Any ideas?

New Bright ?

NQ /Train, possibly? - Though there is a lot of plastic in them..

The hook and loop reminds me of Playmobil?

I think they may be early Newray?
ECR are doing these on EvilBay, and they appear to have a downward hook?
