Having repainted these coaches and recieved some numbers.......
Is/was there any particular way the "classes" were seperated??
I have 1st and 3rd
Where would the coach number have gone??
I welcome any thoughts :)

Doesn't really matter mate, you could probably find examples of all sorts of layouts - only thing is, does the roof still come off? Because the first class seats should really be a lot posher than the rest and possibly a different colour. You might need to tart them up a bit?

Rule 8 ........ this is how ive done it 1st in one end (with the "rear"view window :)
and the 1st class seats are waiting for the trimmers ;)

When I was small (in the 1950s) my Grandmother always insisted on getting into a compartment in the middle of a coach to lessen the jolting from the wheels - and that was in bogie stock. I should think the effect is more pronounced in a four-wheeler. (But then she also sat with her back to the engine to avoid smuts blowing in through the window).
Different world today, with sliding doors and aircon!
