Just recieved a package . Thought to myself I wonder what this is ? Don't remember asking for anything that would need this size box. Hmm. Better open it.

Was that via amazon? My wife ordered a pair of crochet needles on amazon that couldn't have been more than 6 inches long and they arrived in a box like that.

Common size box, makes staking easier and quicker. Probably not good for the environment, but speeds the minions up

Reed switches, methinks. It's true about standard sized boxes though. If you bought them from Germany it is worth sorting through the packaging, they often include a piece of chocolate or jelly babies!

Hattons. The joke is the little glass encased reed switches were loose in the hard plastic box. No amount of packaging,surrounding the box, would have protected them against shocks in those circumstances. Hey ho, I've got a nice box and packing to post something in, for free, later. Max
