Wanted coarse worm gears to match the coarse cog LGB Toytrain porter loco

Recently I picked up a new LGB Toy-train motor to replace the one in my little kitbashed rail-truck. The trouble is that there are two types of drive gears. I'm looking for 2 worm gears to match the coarse axle cogs. Typically the motor I got has the finer worms, so does not connect with the drive cogs as the motor sits higher to compensate for the coarser and larger gears. Annoyingly both chassis types were produced with the same part number but a slightly different motor mount height.
I have both the coarse and finer cog wheels sets, but obviously the fine worm does not connect with the fine axle gears, or mesh with the coarse ones.
If anyone has a pair of coarse worms or a dead motor with these fitted, I'd be pleased to hear from you. Otherwise I'm going to have to change the chassis which has been altered for the rail-truck. I think they were mostly fitted to the Toy-train Porter saddle tanks.

Hi all,
I've got the coarse / fine gears problem sorted,
After stripping down all my Toy-train locos to do a comparison of the drive trains, It transpires that I do have enough wheel, chassis and gear sets to solve the problem. In the course of this I have taken notes as to the differences and compatibilities of all these parts and what to check for when sourcing replacement parts. I'll post this in a separate thread. (When it's not 3.45 am.) As it may help others avoid the non compatibilities in the future.

NB: Rail truck now up and running without having to make a new chassis. (Phew!)

Interesting. Never came across on of those. Where they twin worm motors? And when were they produced?
Only ever seen the flat sided ones in field bahn locos and speeders
