Unknown turnout driver

Dear G scale enthusiast!

Do you have any idea of the manufacter of this switch driver? Because it is missing some parts as you can see, and I'd like to know what is missing.

I have a feeling that these are LGB! But very very early, and not made for long, before the design changed to a rectangular block with a push-pull lever for manual operation.
And also 3 terminal solenoid electric operation

I've tried to find some pictures, but can't....

Aha.....a picture.....'borrowed' fron the web...unfortunately not a large file size..so a rather small image. Hopefully someone has a better image...or even one of the original points. In 20+ years, I've only seen 1 or 2.

As to whether it's possible to find out what was inside the mechanism...or even get the parts....!!

A little bit of hacking and bodgeling ought to be able to get newer LGB items to fit. Holes may need to be cut into the end of sleepers, screw holes drilled for them to be screwed in and a hole drilled in the moving tie to attach the moving part of the switch. Once done the way would be clear for electric LGB motors, though another sleeper end would need to be cut out as the EPL motors have different distances fitting requirements to the hand operated levers.

since there were two newer generations of turnouts, before LGB was swallowed by Märklin, i doubt, that Märklin-LGB would have spareparts for these.

Spare parts are not an issue because we might be able to reproduce it somehow, and thank you for the help, if anybody has a switch like that, I would be courius about what's inside

Shame those indicators used in this instance to move the points were changed, in later years had to be added as an after purchase the point purchase. Always interesting to see pictures of any early LGB equipment. Ooops sorry bit of thread drift.
 
I have that turnout and manual control and it still works. Next manual/generation version had a tab on the end to change directions and this unit also came in an electric version that had manual and A/C control via 3 wires plus the manual tab.
