For a new project I'm building I'm in need of a good deal of trees, so i started building some tree. Here is the description of the first to. There not finished yet, but i will keep the topic updated on every next step.

You'll need:
[*]round wood 14 till 22 mm[*]several colors of pain[*]saw dust[*]iron wire (2 or 3 mm)[*]and some tools. I wont do a big description, the pictures should say enough.

First decide the height of the tree, mine will be between 40 and 50 cm.
Sharpen the point of the tree, then drill holes quite random to add the branches. You end up with some thing like this:

When everything is dry you can go to the next step, adding bark to the tree and branches.:

I use saw dust from the workshop at my work (a furniture company). The first coat applied gives this result:

The 2 trees now need to dry good and hard before adding the 2nd coat of fake bark.

Hi Wijnand. Did you use PVA for glueing on the sawdust?
