Following a bit of head scratching and dithering, I have decided to buy a rake of Bachmann Jackson Sharp coaches. As my desired livery isn’t available, I shall be re-spraying them and if possible fit finer detail castings etc.
I haven’t been successful in finding a supplier of transfers/decals. I don’t mind waterslide or rub down type.
I’m hoping to end up with this livery:

If anyone can help I would be very grateful
Thanks!
Ps....any ideas on the best colour match? Auto Rattle can or Railmatch etc..

I think most on here use Half-rods rattle cans, they have a fair selection still (though yellow isn't that common for cars).

Terry Folley (tac) has a tame transfer supplier, he mentioned it just yesterday I think.

Thanks,
I have sent an email to Tom :)

Union Pacific Armor yellow is a pretty good match, though it might be a tad off-key. Porsche Saffron yellow is a good match in the Halfords range, but remember that you'll have to use a white primer to get the best effect.

My other decal maven, Stan Cederleaf over in Prescott AZ, is a possibility, as he can easily make decals in one piece up to about fifteen inches in length. OTOH, painting a black panel and using white/yellow lettering is also possible, but remember too that most decals are not solid colours, but are quite transluscent. What I've done over the years for something like your project is to use 'Word' and print the lettering out on photopaper that I then stick to the car.

I’d endorse Stan Cedarleaf too. A top man.

Likewise Stan. Though if you prefer self adhesive vinyl - G-Scale Graphics, also US based, is worth a look. Minimum character height 5mm. They did my West Well Lumber Co. decals for me. Max

Halfords Ford 'Signal Yellow' car spray paint. Ford codes: 9, KL, KLP & 1034A. May be worth testing.

Signal yellow is good. BTW, G-Scale Graphics is a gentleman called Del Tapporo, and he, like Stan, is a real pleasure to deal with.
