I have a lot of Jägermeister stuff from the café we had, strange as I don't drink it.

Love seeing your work. In refference to an earlier post of yours. I always wonder if the people racing these historic F1 cars get a kickback from the original sponsors and still active parent companies, e.g. Phillip Morris. For a long time it has been illegal to display tobacco and other "harmful" products' liveries in motorsports and elsewhere. It annoys me, as a former smoker, to see these full unadulterated liveries allowed in most "historic" classes covering the era's from the '60's. They don't even enforce the "Halfway house" compromise of using barcoded logos, and euphemistic alternatives, used in period, to provide a compromise when racing in territories where the brandings were blocked. Go figure. Max

P.S. I'm still a big fan of motorsports. I did apply the full contemporary liveries to race car models I made, before giving up smoking (about the same time I took up garden railways, there's a coincidence :D ).

Actually, I only wanted to digitise the LGB tram car for a Dutch friend. However, the headlights broke off because they were made of cardboard. In addition, the lantern roof was not very well constructed. So I decided to pimp up tram car 28 from Nijmegen. This meant giving it closed platforms and a more stable lantern roof. I have until April to complete the project.

I like to use old plastic paper holder circles for lamps if you can get them, many these days appear to be cardboard but fortunately I have a small supply in stock,

I found a 13 mm plastic pipe in our school workshop.

The roof was reinforced and adapted to the extended platform. Unfortunately, the carriage is about 93 mm too short. The windows do not match the drawings, which I thankfully received. There is also a three-window version. This would be about 4 mm shorter than the original LGB model. As I still have a few LGB tram bodies left over, I will probably build this one too. It will then be a little more accurate. I am now continuing to build this four-axle carriage (incorrectly). It is intended for a Dutch friend.
The tram came with one Lyra pantograph, but the original had two. We searched and searched. They are obviously unavailable. Then I asked two other tram model builders. One was able to help me, and today, after only one day of waiting, it arrived at my place.

I am looking for this roof lamp. It shines white on the side of the line number plate and also white as a headlight. Has anyone built something like this before, or know where I could buy a lamp like this?
Peter

Not sure if you would get an exact copy but Boat or even Dolls House miniature suppliers may do something you could modify by grafting 2 lams together?
