CIMG2016.JPG CIMG2017.JPG CIMG2018.JPG CIMG2019.JPG A couple of snaps of my recently purchased Mallett with my new Harz coaches on the hook.I love these coaches, they look more prototypical than the LGB variety.
No more loco purchases for a while after last weeks Saxon IVK as I am going to expand the track next.Planning to go through the shed, along the back fence, past the pond and join back up with the existing track with maybe a lift out bridge to cross the path.It still will not be large compared to most on this site but hopefully a happy medium can be obtained with the domestic authority....we'll see.

Nice pics! I see you've gone the same route as me for crewing your 5902, with a couple of the nice heavy Prehm zinc-cast figures - these help to even out the weight imbalance inherent in the TL45 Mallett, which as-built puts more weight on the front power unit than the rear one. The weight of the metal driver and fireman helps a lot to even it up.

My red/cream Harz rake are still all LGB, but I have recently got the four-coach TL45 Traditionszug green set which looks really good, although they are a lot more delicate to handle than the LGB coaches.

Jon.
