Sean’s shed reminded me of this one on Fred Mills’ IPP&W. Besides giving shelter, it has electrical connections for battery chargers. The IPP&W is a dead-rail road.

Seized a few minutes this morning to test the Binnie tippers on the line:


Discovered they need a match truck with the Playmobil loco as the coupling heights differ too much.

And tested the shed sidings:

Try using the PM coupling upside down.

Despite the cold and rain here today, my all-year all-weather "instant train" wagon shed was completed today. Made from Filcris, delivered perfectly cut to size. It can hold eight bogie wagons and allows for a quicker start-up for a running session. It replaces an identical wooden structure, which had rotted over the past few years, and finally collapsed in a heap recently when a cat jumped on the roof. This one, I feel, will last considerably longer..
