Interesting to see the rubber tyred Golf wheels appear to be Standard Gauge.
Reminds me of the time I was driving around the Sheffield Ring Road to Dronfield, shortly after the completion of the Sheffield Super Tram. The tracks ran in the reserved central reservation, but at road junctions, they came into the road and the outside (fast) lane. The speed limit around the Ring Road was 60 mph.
I had a Cavalier at the time, and I was approacing a junction when the lights changed to red. I started to slow, then suddenly, I was on the tram tracks and the wheels were on the rails.
I thought that I wouldn't be able to stop at the white line and I was rather worrried to say the least, as the car slid along the rails. Fortunately, the car did stop at the lights, and I didn't cause an accident.
Often wondered if this was a hazard later....
