Would have been great to have been there today, but had to be elsewhere.

So, are you looking for an American import yet, as I hear that an American loco has been seen on the WGLR

Meantime, the little shunter's big brother is assembling a per way train.

Mel, I love that metal fence, it looks absolutely superb - I know exactly what it is, I have some in the shed, but it would never have occured to me that it could be used so effectively.

'and over the bridge' is my fave. Brilliant as always Mel. Lots of operating potential on your line. Like that fencing (might just borrow that idea )

I'll have to include you too Ricky .

Spent a couple of hours yesterday tidying up the garage and unearthed my box of "things that might come in handy one day". This worked a treat .

First, loads of "stuff" for the yard at the back of the factory. Silver pipes are off-cuts of shower rail mounted on a home made pallet.

Posted by: yb281 Feb 22 2009, 02:22 PM
I also found enough off-cuts of Astro-Turf to finish off the section of track between Gooey Station car park and Corris Cottage.

Posted by: yb281 Feb 22 2009, 02:23 PM
And some to make a garden around the cottage complete with rockery and hedge.

Must paint that section of pavement .

With a fence from an off-cut of ply.

Train driver's view. The grass should keep the ballast in place.

How would you fancy living here? ............................ for the trains of course!

Don't know about Corris Cottage, it should be called Train Nut's Cottage .

Left the best til last. I'm REALLY pleased with this one .
